Bella - Mural Artist & Painter

 

Bella is an illustrator and artist working from her studio in Brighton's North Laines.

 

Prior to embarking on a career as an artist Bella spent a number of years living and working in London. It was here that she experimented with photography and worked for several photographers assisting and organising shoot production. She still loves photography but drawing has always been her first passion. After a ten month break working in the north of Norway lapping up the midnight sun and drinking moonshine with the locals, Bella got to re-thinking her career and decided to get back to what she loved doing. She moved to Brighton, went back to school and trained as an illustrator.

 

Bella has a beautiful contemporary style, with fine attention to detail and a selective use of colour which lends itself to a variety of applications. Bella likes to keep her work varied and as a result has seen her designs adorning not only interiors but furniture, T-shirts, home ware, and prints as well as more traditional illustration including editorial work, wedding invitations and logo design.

 

Bella mainly designs with dip pen and ink but she also creates limited edition screen prints and has a new found love of the airbrush which is expanding her work even further.
